Queenslanders recently launched the first of two significant upgrades to the NetBanking Online Banking facility.
The most significant change to effect members is the addition of SMS Security verification when you establish new external transfers or BPAY payments. This added level of security is the industry standard and aims to protect you against fraudsters gaining access to your money through a second layer of identity verification.
The user manual below shows you how to register yourself for this service under the heading "Enhanced Security - SMS Codes" and we encourage you to read this document, or call us on 1800 QLDERS, before attempting to create a new external transfer or BPAY payment.
In addition to the updated security measures, here's a few of the changes our Personal Banking members will notice:
- Updated look and feel of the NetBanking environment
- Additional Security features including 2 Factor Authentication
- Ability to Personalise Accounts
- Ability to Open Savings Account Online
- Addition of online Card Management (Lost/Stolen status and Activation)
- New Reference field for Internal Funds Transfer
- Ability to download Transaction Listing as an OFX file
- Extended Transaction Search abilities
- Joint Signatories update
Please note these changes only affect our Personal Banking members, that our business members' NetBanking facility will remain the same. This is why you will have noticed that our Personal Banking members and our Business Members now have separate buttons with which to access NetBanking.
We understand that our members need secure, flexible and convenient access to their money. The NetBanking environment is an extremely important part of our service to you, and one that we are constantly working to improve. The changes we are introducing are aimed at enhancing usability and making your online banking experience more convenient and enjoyable.
